Sylhet-Chattagram Friendship Foundation is a non-profit social, humanitarian and cultural organization established in 2017 through the initiative of humanitarian personality Md. Shahidul Islam, a native of Chattogram. The organization was founded with the vision of strengthening mutual friendship, harmony and cooperation between the people of the Sylhet and Chattogram divisions. Since its establishment, the foundation has worked to support helpless, disadvantaged and persons with disabilities, particularly during different periods of crisis in Bangladesh. Alongside humanitarian and public-welfare activities, the organization also aims to introduce the younger generation to the unique language, culture, history and heritage of Sylhet and Chattogram. Through its social, cultural and humanitarian initiatives, the foundation seeks to build stronger connections between the two regions and contribute to the wider welfare of society.
